The Romanian American League organizes and sponsors league play in a variety of sports with the objective of providing recreational opportunities for youth and adults of the Romanian American Community.
The principle of participation, diversity, safety and fun guide the programs. While scores are reported and standings kept, the competitive aspects of these activities are secondary to these principles.
Athletic Programs
Romanian American League does not promote programs with direct sponsoring of athletes. However through our network, we encourage and facilitate the environment for community teenagers to embrace outdoor activity, to enhance their athletic abilities.
Request
The League, is in the negotiations with a few municipalities, Hollywood City Florida inclusive, to ask for access to the soccer facilities, for its intended activities in this field of sport. In order to be able to obtain these facilities, the League needs the community members input. It is needed to show proof of the community interest to participate in this sport. By submitting your intent to participate, to have your children preregistered as potential players, we could back up our claims.

Type of sport activities offered by RAL
FIELD OF SOCCER
The game of soccer is very popular and successful played in our native country. To further extend this tradition, the League, is committed to create the environment needed for this game to be played by our youngsters and not only. The Soccer Department will provide more details for these programs.
SESSIONS of TRAINING
In the process to be offered for soccer enthusiasts by age and skill
Girls. For beginners only
- Group A. Age 6 to 8 years
- Group B. Age 9 to 12 years
Boys. For beginners only
- Group C. Age 6 to 9 years
- Group D. Age 9 to 12 years
- Group E. Age 10 to 15 years. Advance level
Juniors, Men, advanced
- Group F. Age 16 to 35 years.
From this group, players will be selected to represent in competitions the Romanian American League
Equipment. The players are required to have their own outfit as indicated by the organizers
Fees. The participation is based on fee/donation. Discounts are offered for the members to the Romanian American League.
FIELD OF TENNIS
In response to our close relationship with the administration of City of Hollywood, Florida, a number of tennis facilities are accessible to the members of our organization. A list of our capabilities in this field could be obtained from our Tennis Department.
